Aside from LinkedIn, there are actually other platforms that can be useful for you as a remodeler, including Facebook. If you are making a Facebook page for your company, it is not enough that you have your company logo up there and just leave it for the sake of having a page for people to contact. You need to maximize your Facebook because it is also a good way to generate leads organically. If you will check Facebook pages of some remodeling companies, most of them post the pictures or slideshows of their most recent projects, customer testimonials, and contact information. However, the pictures lack details, and some others don’t have good quality images. When you share photos of your projects, make sure that the images are of good quality and it will be better if you post the before and after. You may also want to include pictures of your satisfied customers in their newly remodeled house or room. Aside from the photos, you can regularly post links to your blog or updates about your company so that you can drive more traffic to your site. Also, prioritize your customers and make sure that you are responsive to their comments, queries, and messages. Lastly, don’t forget about some less used social media networks in your industry that can actually generate more traffic and more leads fast, such as Instagram and Pinterest.

4. Keep in touch with your previous customers.

Who says you can’t get business from your former customers? While your marketing efforts are targeted to getting new clients, it is also important that you don’t forget about the previous ones. You can continually cultivate your relationships with them by sending them emails for example. Since they have already hired you once for a project, chances are they could be hiring you once again the moment they need your remodeling services again. Also, when you make an effort to check with your former customers, you are letting them feel that they have not been forgotten and that you truly care about them. And when this happens, chances are they will also be recommending you to their friends, families or to anyone they know wants to have their house remodeled.

5. Enhance your local presence

Most customers will prefer hiring remodelers from their local community than those who are out of town. So it means that you need to also invest your efforts into establishing your brand locally. For example, you can have a joint project with a local organization or charity. This way, you are not only increasing the exposure of your business in your location, but you are also making a good impression to your potential customers which could result in more leads. You can establish a good reputation if you make efforts to be active in your local community.
